28 Lessons I was handed in 2025. 🤦🏻‍♀️🎁

I spent this morning reviewing my calendar from this past year and reflecting on wins and losses - and ways of being that served and didn’t serve me. Here are 28 lessons I had handed to me over and over again in 2025. Take what speaks to you, leave what doesn’t.

  1. The world is beautiful, don’t get trapped inside.
  2. Get off the computer, keep with your check in/ check out process.
  3. Lean into your hobbies, you have space (literally) for this.
  4. Eat the frogs, your energy will thank you.
  5. You have all the pieces. You just need to stick with it.
  6. Put your goals and direction front of mind where you can see it everyday.
  7. You are rich. Life is abundant. Stay grateful.
  8. Return to your parts. Integrate, don’t suppress. Reparent. Pay more attention to when you self-abandon.
  9. Advocate for yourself. Speak your needs. Make requests.
  10. Your routines are your foundation — walk, run/bike, lift, hydrate, protein first, sleep. Nails done, hair done, get dressed. Keep your space clean.
  11. Stay on the declutter train.
  12. People love you. You have a wonderful network of humans. Remember it is okay to reach out first.
  13. Self-validate.
  14. You are fucking capable.
  15. Stop the spiral. Don’t overthink. Let it be messy.
  16. Action creates clarity.
  17. Travel more. It is possible.
  18. You might have to outgrow some people.
  19. BOUNDARIES — set them, keep them. They keep you sane.
  20. You have to talk about your offer and speak to your people in order for people to reach out.
  21. Have more conversations, foster relationships and connection.
  22. Learn to talk about your coaching offer.
  23. If you put your business on the back burner it won’t grow.
  24. Let it be “simple” + Elegant.
  25. Hire help. Delegate. You don’t need to do it all.
  26. Your business should be a machine.
  27. Focus on the transformation (and what your people actually want).
  28. Remember your WHY — in life and in business.

Thank you for being here and reading. I hope this year has brought you everything that you needed. I know it has been a journey for me and I’m ready to close it out and move on to 2026.

I’m leaving this little teaser here, after the positive response to my last email asking if y'all were interested in a training on getting in more protein, I will be doing a FREE training mid January. Be on the lookout for more details about that as we get closer. I really want to provide you with a ton of value and practical implementable actions you can take to get some immediate traction. So stay tuned!

Happy Holidays!

The winter arc era is upon us. Instagram is filled with coaches selling you their programs to help you stay on track through the holidays. We even have people already selling you into 8-week shred programs starting in the New Year. And while I’m all for health and fitness challenges to motivate you - I am taking a much more laid-back approach to my health this season, and I think you should t0o. The world seems to be crashing and burning around us, both literally and figuratively, and I don’t...

I was listening to a podcast the other day on my walk, and one of the speakers talked about how she had gotten to her success in life because she had acted as if “she had the audacity of a white man.” And that struck a chord. How often do us, gender minorities, stay small, speak less, accept less, ask for less, and compromise our own well-being to make other people comfortable? I have been going through it these past few months and so much of my stress would be alleviated if I just set...

You do NOT need to do everything perfectly in order to get results. You just need to do a few things mostly well and consistently. I went through a bulk (where I was eating in a surplus to put on muscle) a couple years ago and I had a spreadsheet where I was tracking probably 20 different metrics - steps, sleep, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, my cycle, sleep, hydration, energy, measurements, weight, my lifts etc… And it while I THRIVE in data - even for me it was overwhelming each week to have...
